<p style="text-align: justify; ">Do-drul Chorten is a stupa in Gangtok in the Indian state of Sikkim. The stupa was built by Trulshik Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism in 1945. Inside this stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur and other religious objects. Around the stupa are 108 Mani Lhakor or prayer wheels</p>

<div style="text-align: justify; ">Directorate of Handicrafts &amp; Handloom is the recent name given to the old Handloom and Handicrafts Centre of Sikkim which was set up in 1957. The museum is located at a distance of half kilometre from the main market of Gangtok. It is also known as the Government Institute of Cottage Industries (GICI). The museum was founded during the reign of the Chogyals of Sikkim. The museum started with the intention to preserve and promote the art and craft skills of the local artisans.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify; ">The museum is an authentic warehouse of traditional handicraft and handloom. It houses handwoven carpets with traditional motifs, blankets, shawls (in Lepcha weaves), graceful 'choktse', 'thangka' paintings, hand-painted masks, dolls, and many other objects.&nbsp; The carpets so produced at the museum have amazing design and fine texture ranging from stylish contemporary patterns to the traditional ones. Besides carpets, the exclusive handmade paper is another specialty which is made from the bark of algeri tree.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify; ">One of its kind in India and the third in the world, the Namgyal Institute houses the largest collection of Tibetan works outside of Tibet. The institute houses a museum, a research centre and a library, and is based in Deorali, south of Gangtok, 5 km away.&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Since its establishment in 1958, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology has sponsored and promoted research on the religion, history, language, art and culture of the people of the Tibetan cultural area which includes Sikkim.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify; ">The museum in this nstitute has one of the world's largest collected works and exceptional manuscripts on the theme of Mahayana Buddhism.&nbsp; And besides these amazing collections, the museum also houses more than 200 Buddhist images, thangkas, statues, shrines, paintings, wall-hangings, masks and other religious works of Tibetan Art.</div>

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. She was so friendly by nature and knowledgeable person to guide us. Thanks to FLAMINGO.It was our excellent dream trip. I would rate 5 stars out of 5.

He always tried to serve the best food and at the proper time. The thing that was best in him was that he always shared some or the other things related to the place we were visiting in an interesting manner. Mr kushal shah tried to give information about the place in an easy language understoodable by every participant and never meant to behave partial with anyone. A negative or say a sad point&nbsp; was that the Orlando hotel which was felt comparatively poor quality. We were given quality shopping time and he also enlisted what activities are to be done in parks that are the best in that particular part.
