Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Auckland

    On arrival in Auckland,’ The City of Sails', pick up self drive vehicle from airport and drive to hotel. Auckland-City inspires both her inhabitants and her visitors with staggering location mild climate and wealth of thing to see and do. Evening at leisure.


    Car Rentals Includes: GST, Unlimited Kilometers and loss damage waiver, GPS, Airport fees,   Comprehensive Insurance 


    Car Rental Rate Excludes: 

    • Parking, Fuel, Fines, ferry terminal pick up fee, Ferry transfer, premium location surcharge, 24 hrs roadside assistance, Child Seat, Toll taxes, Snow chain and One way fees if any. Car pick up / drop off time must be same

    • On Self-drive, client will need to carry a valid credit card for bond and extras to pick up of rental car. 

    • Credit card MUST be under the name of the customer. Any third person credit card will not be accepted.

    • Customer's name MUST be printed on the credit card.

    • Clients will need to carry a valid credit card with enough funds for bond (Cash bond will not be acceptable by rental car company), also need to carry valid full driving license (should be in clear English). 

    • Child / Infant seat are not included & will be on additional cost

  • Day 2 :Auckland - Paihia (Bay Of Island) - (228 Kms, 3hrs 30mins approx)

    After breakfast drive to Paihia township in the beautiful Bay of Islands which is often referred to as 'the birth place of the New Zealand nation’.  Highlights today are travelling along the Hibiscus Coast and the ever-changing semi-tropical landscape.

  • Day 3 :Bay Of Island - Cape Reinga & - Ninety Mile Beach Tour

    Cape Reinga & 90 Mile Beach Tour (SIC – seat in coach basis). A visit to New Zealand is not complete without a journey to the top of the North Island – Cape Reinga. Uncover the wild beauty of this vast and untouched region that is rich in Maori culture and tradition.This journey will take you to Cape Reinga, where according to Maori legend, this is the place of departing spirits on their journey to the homeland - Hawaiki. On your way, visit the ancient Puketi Kauri forest, with a 20 minute boardwalk past 1,000 year old Kauri trees and native bush. Stop at Taipa Beach Resort for morning tea (own expense) then later, enjoy a BBQ lunch at Houhora for $23. On arrival at Cape Reinga, stand on the windswept tip of New Zealand and watch the Pacific Ocean collide with the Tasman Sea.Then take the opportunity to try sand boarding down the massive sand dunes on boogie boards at Te Paki Stream – try it if you dare! A fun experience that is available to all passengers. Your journey along the vast and empty 90 Mile Beach will provide striking contrasts to the busy and populated east coast. Feel the sand between your toes as your guide digs for shellfish (conditions permitting). This is an action packed day with opportunities to take photos or simply sit back and enjoy this unique part of New Zealand.

  • Day 4 :Paihia - Rotorua - (455kms, 8 to 9hrs approx)

    After breakfast depart for Rotorua. On arrival in Rotorua check-in at the hotel. Evening you have a chance to enjoy Polynesian Spa is a developed geothermal spa facility in Rotorua, North Island, New Zealand. Enjoy Polynesian Spa to feel relax .Dinner at Indian Restaurant by short walk. Late evening enjoy redwood night walk- enjoy Recreational walk featuring 23 suspension bridges through 115-year-old redwood trees.   Redwoods Nightlights™ is one of New Zealand’s top design led tourism experiences that features 30 exquisite lanterns designed by world-renowned designer and sustainability champion David Trubridge. Floating between 9-20 metres above the forest floor, this award-winning, eco-tourism walk is 700 metres long, spans across 28 suspension bridges and 27 platforms and takes about 40 minutes to complete.

  • Day 5 :Rotorua - (Thermal Reserves & Sheep Show)

    Morning depart for Rotorua Sightseeing tour, visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve, famous Pohutu Geyser which erupts 10 to 25 times each day to heights of 16 to 20 meters. The reserve is also filled with boiling mud pools generated by the extreme thinness of the earth's crust in the area. Follow your reserve experience with entry to the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute which is preserving the remarkable heritage of our Maori people and teaching the young crafts people the traditional arts of bone and greenstone (jade) carving and weaving etc. Agro dome Sheep and Farm tour for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. Overnight at Rotorua.

  • Day 6 :Rotorua –Waitomo - Auckland - (Rotorua to Waitomo caves, 140 Kms 1hrs 50min Waitomo caves to Auckland, 200Kms
    After breakfast drive to Auckland, Enroute be transferred through the ever changing scenery onto the Waitomo region where we stop at today’s highlight, your guided tour through the famous Waitomo Glow worm Caves which have spectacular limestone formations and the roof is studded with the lights of thousands of tiny Glow worms, including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms on the cavern roof. After that proceed for city orientation tour and Enjoy Sky tower ride, nothing compares to the 360 degrees views of Auckland City that you will get from the viewing platform once you have ridden up the Sky Tower lift. As you walk around taking in the views the free hand held audio guide gives a fascinating commentary on the sights and view from each window. For added excitement those who dare can stand on the glass floor panels and see the view down to street level at an optional cost.

  • Day 7 :Auckland - Queenstown

    Early morning self drive to Auckland airport and drop the car to given point and later depart for flight to Queenstown. After breakfast enjoy spectacular half day tour highlighting the 'Must-Do" sights and attractions in Queenstown covering Bungy jumping site (Bungy jump on own at extra charges). Visit Skyline Gondola ride and one luge ride - The gondola ride takes you to Bob's Peak perched high above Queenstown.  From here get the best views over picturesque Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and Remarkable Mountains spread before you in a magnificent panorama. Overnight at Queenstown.

  • Day 8 :Queenstown - Milford Sound Cruise - (307 Kms 3 hrs 45 min approx)

    Early morning depart for Full day tour to Milford Sound. Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown.

  • Day 9 :Queenstown
    After breakfast proceed to Arrow town- The picturesque town retains its old world charm through careful preservation of its colorful history and colonial style architecture. Highlights are the Lakes District Museum, Remarkable Sweet Shop and the great shops and cafes in the high street for Jet Boat Ride (30mins) (weather permitting). Discover Queenstown’s untouched and pristine wilderness during your authentic jet boat journey along the historic Kawarau and Shotover Rivers.  Jet’s trip takes you down an exclusive section of the Kawarau River that is only accessible by jet boat! Evening free for leisure.

  • Day 10 :Queenstown - Wanaka – Franz Josef - (350 kms, 6 hrs approx)

    After breakfast depart to  franz Josef via wanaka lake, Lake Wanaka is New Zealand’s fourth largest lake estimated to be more than 300 meters (980 feet) deep. Stay at Franz Joseph or Fox Glaciers. Evening at leisure.

    After breakfast the day is at leisure to explore this magnificent glacier region. Enjoy an optional scenic flight or guided walk on one of the glaciers.

  • Day 12 :Franz Josef - Christchurch - (382 kms, 6 hrs approx)

    After breakfast drive to Christchurch. Christchurch- With picturesque Avon river, a Grand Anglican cathedral rising above the city center, trams rattling  past streets, manicured gardens and crisply cut lawns. Its most English city of New Zealand. Evening at leisure.
