Duden Waterfall

Duden Waterfall is one of the most beautiful natural places to visit in Antalya, Turkey. Düden Waterfall is not a typical inland waterfall. It is divided into Upper Duden and Lower Duden sections, both offer different experiences. There is a cave behind the Upper Duden falls.

The waterfall forms a curtain of falling water around you. The Lower Düden drops approximately 40 metres from a limestone cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea. The complete view is best seen from a boat. This unique feature makes it one of the most interesting attractions in Antalya. They are different experiences in different locations - both are worth visiting.

Best Time to Visit Duden Waterfall

The best time to visit Duden Waterfall is from spring and early summer when the water flow is stronger, and the gardens look greener. Morning and evening visits are more comfortable, especially during the summer months. The waterfall has the strongest flow between February and May after the winter rains. In July and August, the water flow becomes much lighter, and some visitors may find it smaller than expected.

  • Visit Both Sections: Upper and Lower Duden offer completely different experiences.
  • Entry Fee: Entry to the Upper Düden Park is free. Boat rides to view Lower Düden from the sea require a separate ticket. 
  • Wear Comfortable Shoes: Some walking areas can be slippery.
  • Spend Time in the Park: Locals often come here to relax and enjoy picnics.
  • Opening Hours: Upper Düden Waterfall - 08:00 to 19:00 (April–October) and 08:00 to 17:00 (November–March). Open every day. The Lower Düden Waterfall is Open 24 hours, every day.
  • Entry Fee: for Upper Duden Waterfall is approximately 70 Turkish Lira, and for Lower Duden Waterfall is free.
