One of Europe's most spectacular natural wonders and pleasure to visit at any time of year. Plitvice with its incredible beauty is drilled as a phenomenon consists of 16 interconnected lakes - all situated at a different level - and over 90 waterfalls of different sizes.
The color of the water is so clear that you can see through and it's changing from emerald green to aqua blue which gives you the opportunity for amazing photography.
Eight hiking routes are all marked and easy to follow so the walk around the park is safe.
After an amazing time spend in the park you will have optional lunchtime before our way back home.

Plitvice are known as a natural phenomenon because they keep changing through sedimentation of calcium carbonate and create special kinds of algae and moss, tufa or travertine which has been deposited and is still deposited to form the natural dams that separate the lakes. Since the process is going on today, just as it always has, new travertine barriers, curtains, stalactites, channels, and cascades are being built and the existing ones are changing. So it doesn’t matter if you have visited the lakes before, they probably look different now, so you can visit again and never be bored. Besides the lakes, there are some interesting caves in which remains of prehistoric settlements have been found.
