Aurora Viewing tours
An aurora (plural: auroras or aurorae), also known as polar lights, aurora polaris, northern lights, aurora borealis, or southern lights, aurora australis, is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions (around the Arctic and Antarctic). Auroras display dynamic patterns of brilliant lights that appear as curtains, rays, spirals or dynamic flickers covering the entire sky.
Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind. These disturbances alter the trajectories of charged particles in the magnetospheric plasma. These particles, mainly electrons and protons, precipitate into the upper atmosphere (thermosphere/exosphere). The resulting ionization and excitation of atmospheric constituents emit light of varying colour and complexity. The form of the aurora, occurring within bands around both polar regions, is also dependent on the amount of acceleration imparted to the precipitating particles.

Dog Sledding tour
Dog power has been used for hunting and travel for over a thousand years. As far back as the 10th century BCE these dogs have contributed to human culture.[2]
Assembling a dog sled team involves picking lead dogs, point dogs, swing dogs, whind wheel dogs. The lead dog is crucial, so mushers take particular care of these dogs. Another important detail is to have powerful wheel dogs to pull the sled out from the snow. Point dogs (optional) are located behind the leader dogs, swing dogs between the point and wheel dogs, and team dogs are all other dogs in between the wheel and swing dogs and are selected for their endurance, strength, and speed as part of the team. In dog sledding, Siberian Huskies or Alaskan Malamutes are the main types of dogs that are used for recreational sledding because of their strength and speed and endurance as well as their ability to withstand the cold. However, Alaskan Huskies are also a popular dog for sled dog racing, because of their endurance, good eating habits, speed, and dedication to running even when tired.[citation needed]
Sometimes, for sprint races, mushers use short-haired hounds that are faster than the average husky. These hounds are raised from a young age to pull. It is harder to train hounds than it is to train Siberian Huskies and Malamutes to pull a sled because it is not in their nature. Training should start at around six months of age by pulling a small log behind them

Yukon Wildlife Preserve & Takhini Hot Springs Tour
Yukon Wildlife & Hot Springs
At 2:30 pm we'll pick you up from your hotel in Whitehorse and head north to visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, one of the best places to see the wild animals living in these vast areas of Canada.
After a 30 minute journey, we'll arrive at the reserve where we'll learn more about the wild animals in their natural habitat, specifically there are 12 different species of Northern Canadian mammals around the preserve. This tour is a perfect opportunity to take unique shots of impressive wildlife!
Wood bison, mountain goats, mule deer, elk, woodland caribou and muskox are some of the animals you'll encounter during the 1 hour 30 minute that we'll be in this reservation. However, they're unpredictable so we can't guarantee the number of animals you'll see.
After going around the majority of the Yukon's Wildlife Preserve we'll head to Takhini's hot springs, where you'll have 3 hours free. Here you'll enjoy a warm water bath while admiring the remarkable views of the Whitehorse landscape.
The hot springs stay at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) all year round, even though the outside temperatures reaches -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit). So you can have a relaxing bath at any time of year in this corner of Canada.
Finally, we'll head back to your hotels in Whitehorse at 8:30 pm.
