Night Safari

Explore the charm of a tropical forest!

Spread across 86 acres of land, the Night Safari is home to over 2500 animals of more than 130 species. With an annual footfall of around 1.1 million visitors, the place is one of the most famous attractions in Singapore, due to its uniqueness on many fronts. You will see a myriad of nocturnal animals from predators to timid forest dwellers in their natural habitat under the moonlight. The park is divided into 7 geographical areas, you can see the place on foot as well as on the tram, and see animals in artificial lighting that resembles moonlight. In addition to the usual animal walks, there are a number of shows that also take place on night safaris such as Thumbuakar's performance of fire-eating skills or Animal Extravaganza in the Creators of the Night show.

The place is home to The Asian Elephant, Clouded Leopard, Malayan Tiger, White African Lion, Fishing Cat, Red and White Flying Squirrels, Spotted Hyenas and many other amazing and rare creatures. You can visit special areas specially built for them such as leopard trail, fishing cat trail, eastbound route. The Wallaby Trail and 3 other special areas of biodiversity in the rain forest. Habitats designed to mimic the natural environment from the foothills of the Himalayas to the Southeast Asian rain-forest will leave you strange.                                                                                Tram safari

The tram safari is the most popular attraction in the Singapore Night Safari, and is a 40-minute drive through six geographic regions that represent more than 50 animal species. Geographical areas replicate a variety of habitats, from the foothills of the Himalayas to the forest of the Asiatic River. Drive Through has several free range residences. Cattle grids are laid before and after freeing from drive-through habitats to prevent animals from escaping. These six geographical regions are: Himalayan foothills, Marshlands, Indian subcontinent, Equatorial Africa, Asian riverine forest, Nepalese River valley, Burmese River Valley.
