Also referred to as the “Lion City”, Singapore has a lot to offer from delightful architecture, culinary experiences, exciting nightlife to themed parks and state-of-the-art accommodations. Below mentioned is a list of things you should know while planning a trip to Singapore.

●        Currency: Singapore Dollar is the currency here. It comes in denominations of 2, 5, 10, 50, 100, 1000 and 10,000 Singapore Dollars.

●        Wi-Fi and Connectivity: In Singapore, tourists can register and connect to the public Wi-Fi spots for free with their foreign mobile numbers. Overseas charges may apply.

●        Tax Refund: A refund of 7% is allowed to be claimed by tourists on the Goods and Services Tax if the purchase made is more than $100 at participating shops.

●        Language: Although the national language of Singapore is Malay, most of the Singaporeans have no trouble speaking English. You may also find people speaking Mandarin Chinese and Tamil.

●        Weather: Singapore experiences hot and humid weather throughout the year. On average, the temperatures can reach over 30°C. Rains can happen at any time, which can be torrential but usually brief. So be prepared.

I Would Highly Recommend Flamingo

I would highly recommend Flamingo after my 10 days Europe tour of Paris and Switzerland for our Honeymoon. Their Amazing customer service, intense knowledge and explanations on each site has been commendable. Each day they explained what is the itinerary with history, what to focus on so we get maximum out of our time. The icing of cake was their selection of Hotel which were most of the time in centre of town , near to restaurants and train and local transport so we made best use of time seeing more attraction points . We are really thankful to Flamingo specially for making our holidays enjoyable and memorable and looking forward to more trips with Flamingo in future

Making Our holiday memorable

Dear prakash and team, many thanks for arranging our vacation trip. We throughly enjoyed and will carry nice memories for lifetime.  Your travel arrangements , choice of hotels, and detailed itinerary was great and made our journey easy. Kudos for magnificent planning. In paris we enjoyed the trip to Effiel Tower, cruise, night view of Paris. The evening cruise was also enjoyable though the cruise was fully crowded and no place to sit!. Normandy is unforgettable.  Full credit to sunny for making the trip. He was very supportive and took our yearnings were cooly. The trip to the war memorial ,The grave of 9000 soldiers and the museum showing the entire Normandy event cannot be forgotten.  The stay at Normandy was really good and at personal level I think it was the best of the hotels that we stayed. Visit to varsellies Palace was good.visit to Nice city really enjoyed. Had a good time at the beach ,took bath , visited lovers waterfall.also visit to perfume factory and local village was memorable. Visit to chemonix= my goodness its most beautiful place. The peak we visited was at 14700 ft and the view from top was breathless. Amazing view and still it's like picture running before our eyes. In my view chemonix is a cut above mount titlis and jungfrau.  Next day at chemonix we went to see glacier  and ice cave. Also took a mount trail of one hour. Chemonix is memories of lifetime.  In Switzerland Visit to mount titlis really enjoyed it.  Your train guides were really helpful. Next visit to mount jungfrau also enjoyed. Walked in the snow and had a great time. Also took lunch at bollywood restaurant. For your information we had food only at two Indian restaurant and not listed in your itinerary. One Indian restaurant at Paris while returning from Normandy = Nepali restaurant.  Second Indian restaurant at interlaken spicy lounge south indian.  Every tour also leaves a learning curve. It is our comments and not criticism
1. In paris ,hop bus for one day insufficient.  We could complete Effiel tower send other two points but could not cover opera and museum. May be one day extra in paris could have covered this.
2 we after reaching paris realised opera shows but could not get tickets.  Sunny also tried.
3. The train schedules provided were good. You had provided options but the detailed schedule was only of option 1. Though we could manage and it was not difficult  but the detailing of all options would have helped us better. Its ok. Many thanks to you and neel and all other members of your support staff . Really appreciate your good work and making our holiday memorable.

Flamingo made our honeymoon truly memorable

Hello Travel buddies,
I am Het Shah and recently I got married in month of December and so it calls for the honeymoon obviously and for that we wanted to plan a trip and at that time I came across Flamingo as my travel planner. Initially we were confused for the destination but executive Mr. Amit Khanvilkar helped us a lot by understanding all our requirements, budget, interest and preferences. And we planned #Thailand and seriously it turned out to be the best trip. They already had planned itinerary but we were looking for some best and exclusive properties for stays and as per there suggestions we plunged in seriously being frank I asked other tour planners earlier but Nothing worked but the properties by flamingo and selection of Mr. Amit was soooo beautiful. Even the way itinerary was planned! Considering time, ambience, rests and important places was perfect.

I have travelled a lot but usually agents get there back off once we complete our bookings but Flamingo and there team proved me wrong. Special thanks to Mr. Abhishek Upadhyay who looked after our arrangements after we reached Thailand being in our constant touch personally 24x7 and took atmost good care of our check-ins n outs, transfers, entry vouchers and all other essential management  and Amit bhai who kept on suggesting things which were worth doing but was not in our itinerary proved to be good.

Flamingo’s traveller partner and their executives made our honeymoon truly memorable by perfectly planning our tour from suggestions to bookings and stays to food. Definitely looking forward to come back for our next trip to Srilanka soon.

Tour Travel Guide

Singapore is one of the most orderly cities in the world. The destination is described as a playground for the rich as the small-city state features certain sheen of wealth. Here you will get to know the perfect blend of ethnic and urban development throughout Singapore's illustrious history. Travelers from across the world flock to this destination to experience its high-end shopping malls, luxury hotels, fine dining, and amazing lifestyle and nightlife experiences. The main theme of Singapore Tourism centers around its historical touch that now represents the impact of transforming from a fish village to an urban enchanting city.

Singapore history dates back to the 18th century which suggests that a noteworthy trading settlement existed in Singapore in the 14th century. The last 2 centuries have birthed a legacy rich in heritage and revolution, reflecting the significant role Britain and various other countries had towards Singapore’s growth. For around 200 years, Singapore’s mutual relations with Britain remain really strong with the two countries committing to share best practice in problems including sustainable business and innovation, tradition and youth development.

Singapore is situated in the southern corner of the Malay Peninsula divided from the mainland. The island is mostly flat with low hills. Along with the mainland, the geography of the Republic of Singapore features more than 60 really small islands and islets. Languages of Singapore are as diverse as its people and culture. For a fact, Singapore does not have an official language. People living here speak Singlish which is a unique English based slang. The multicultural destination accepts 4 languages: Malay, Mandarin, Tamil and English and due to good bilingual education policy a lot of locals can speak 2 or more languages.

Travel industry in India is rapidly growing. Outbound tourism and the competition between destinations to attract travelers is really strong. Apparently Singapore tops the list of Indian visitors. And why not? Singapore tourism has so much to offer to all kinds of travelers. Singapore tour packages present various family-friendly attractions, things to do and explore. The destination flaunts brilliant transportation services that make getting around quite efficient and convenient for tourists. Apart from shopping and dining Singapore is full of natural attractions and cultural heritage sites from botanic gardens, nature parks to temples and museums.
