Introducing Philippines

Philippines are an archipelago of over 7000 islands – yes, you read it right. There aren’t thorough land connections and so getting around from one place to another is a tad difficult. And yet, Philippines are slowly becoming a travelers’ paradise thanks to its white sand beaches and crystal clear waters that are on every diver and surfer’s bucket list. But tourism in Philippines is not limited to island lovers. You can trek a volcano, hit a beach party, be one with nature in the jungles and tour the abundant rice terraces. The jovial and warm Filipino people, the vibrant cities and picture-perfect outdoors make all kinds of tourists fall in love with the country. Its currency is the Philippine Peso and apart from the Filipino language even English is spoken commonly so traveling here is relatively easy.

Trip Planned By Flamingo Was One Of The Best Trip

Mr. Praxal Mehta

I am glad to inform that my Philippines trip planned by Flamingo was one of the best trips. The coordination between local tour agency and guides as well as drivers seemed extremely smooth. The best part of the trip was the welcoming culture of the country that we have experienced. The hotels in all three destinations were either as per expectation or above expectation. Here, I would like to give a special mention to "Princesa Garden Island and Resort" property. It is an awesome resort with lots of greenery. A perfect place to spend some time away from concrete jungles.
The city tour of Manila was a learning experience of Filipino culture. The guide, Mr. Abdulla, is a man with deep knowledge of Filipino culture and is a very friendly person. The countryside tour of Bohol was the most peaceful journey due to its clean weather and sweet people. The Guitar factory in Mactan city (Cebu) showed us the world of strings. We saw all the levels of production that are performed to make world-class guitars and ukulele. Though we missed visiting the underground river tour at Puerto Princesa, it seems to be a must visit place as it also features in seven wonders of the nature.
