See Kuala Lumpur’s tantalizing landscapes from up high as you head to the KL Tower Observation Deck, the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world that rises 421 meters above ground level. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of the city and its notorious skyscrapers. KL Tower’s Observation Deck offers unobstructed 360 degree views of Kuala Lumpur city and is, without doubt, the best spot in town for taking great photos.Regardless of morning, afternoon, evening or night, the observation deck at 276 meters above ground level offers stunning and thrilling view of metropolitan city Kuala Lumpur.
The tower stands tall atop the Bukit Nanas (Pineapple Hill) Forest Reserve – the oldest gazette forest reserve in the country, which houses age-old trees as well as flora and fauna indigenous to Malaysia’s tropical climate. Primarily used as a communications infrastructure, it claims to be the fifth-tallest telecommunications tower in the world. When it was originally built, the natural surroundings of Bukit Nanas were kept intact just to ensure balance in development; in fact a 100-year-old Jelutong tree was preserved, at heavy cost, by building a retaining wall around it.
