The Swaminarayan Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar is one of the biggest temple in the country. It is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan and was constructed by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. The construction of the temple took over 13 years and was inaugurated on 30th October, 1992. 


Spot Asiatic Lions:

The only and most famous place to spot Asiatic Lions is the Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. The national park is located in the TalalaGiroffering a unique experience. The Nawab of Junagadh initiated the preservation of the lions when they were on the verge of getting extinct because of hunting. As per the official count of 2010 there were 411 lions in the national park.


Explore Rani kiVav stepwell in Patan:

Rani kiVav is also known as ‘Queen’s stepwell’. It was built to store water and is located in Patan, Gujarat on the banks of Sabarmati River. The stepwell is designed in Maru-Gujarat architectural style. It was constructed around 900 years ago and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And for a fact, the structure is printed on the 100 rupee note by the Reserve Bank of India.
