Enjoy paragliding at Khajjiar
Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying.Experience an amazing paragliding ride in the skies of Dalhousie. Experienced pilots will offer you both single and tandem rides for this experience and will take you on a short flight across the Dhauladhar ranges and dense forest. After you reach on the exact spot you can see the majestic view of Mount Kailash, get a Quick briefing session of paragliding in Dalhousie by instructors, a group of professionals help gliders get adjusted onto the paraglider. Once that's done, the fun begins! The experience of the picturesque view of the Dhauladhar ranges and the cool breeze brushing against gliders makes for a thrilling adventure.
How to reach: Khajjiar is located just 21kms away from Dalhousie. Public and Private transport can be used to reach the place. The exact location of the paragliding will be shared post-booking.
Best time to do: February to June and September to NovemberDuration: 9-10 minutes (depending on weather conditions)
Note : To enjoy the paragliding activity in Dalhousie, ensure that you wear comfortable casual clothes.
The maximum weight allowed for paragliding activity in Dalhousie is 110 kg. Anyone above the age of 110 kg will not be allowed for the activity.
This activity is suitable for the age group of 16 years to 45 years. The equipment you will need is imported from France and are tested for safety. The above activates is not pre-bookable, the rates may vary from supplier to supplier. This has to be booked & pay directly on spot. The rates given are just for reference and planning purpose only.
