The Sky Tower is a broadcast communication and observation tower in Auckland, New Zealand. Situated at the side of Victoria and Federal Streets inside the city's CBD, it is 328 meters (1,076 ft) tall, as estimated from ground level to the head of the pole, making it the tallest unattached structure in the Southern Hemisphere and the 27th tallest world in the world. It has become a big milestone in Auckland's horizon because of its unique design and height.

The tower serves as a part of the SkyCity Auckland casino club complex, initially implicit 1994–1997 for Harrah's Entertainment.

The Sky Tower has a few upper levels that are open to people in general:

  • Level 50: Sky Cafe
  • Level 51: Main Observation Deck
  • Level 52: Orbit 360° Dining
  • Level 53: The Sugar Club eatery, SkyWalk, and SkyJump
  • Level 60: Sky Deck

The principle observation level at 186 m (610 ft) has 38 mm (1.5 in) thick glass areas of the deck giving a view directly to the ground. The top observation deck named "Skydeck" sits just beneath the principle receiving wire at 220 m (720 ft) and surrenders perspectives on to 82 km (51 mi) out there. There is also a "SkyJump" - a 192-meter (630 ft) hop from the perception deck, during which a jumper can reach up to 85 km/h (53 mph).
