A Journey to The Golden Dunes

In 2010 Me and My family decided we wants to visit Jaisalmer Jodhpur & Sam Dune for 05 Nights and 06 Days.

Our first stop was Jaisalmer by car from Ahmedabad. Jaislamer also called as “Golden City”, We visited  Sonar Quila means Golden Fort. This fort has good carving every porch, also good view and different – different view, we can easily see whole city.

PATWA NI HAVELI:

This is a five storied Haveli with carving ,pictures enclosed  .They are the  houses of merchants and traders, all merchant doing business in Patwa’s Haveli. They are the houses near india Pakistan border the strategic location of the city was very appropriate & business flourished & therefore the traders very and influential. No wonder they could afford such good structures.

Other places to visit Gadisar Lake. It is a must visit for every tourist that travels to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.

Day second we are visited Jain temple, it’s behind Golden Fort. Its lots Jain Saint.

After lunch we moved in Sam Dunes which is 45 KMs far away from Jaisalmer. It was super experience. Rajasthan dessert life culture, sunset viewing, wildlife & beauty, a stay at the desert resort built in traditional desert village style or in tented camp. It was good experience for camel safari.

Non Stop Jodhpur:

The city is known as the Sun City for the bright, Also Blue City, because lots of houses in the old city are painted Indigo. Jodhpur is center of Rajasthan.

Visit Mehrangah Fort: 

Mehrangadh fort looms large over the city of Jodhpur. Umed bhavan palace built by maharaja Umaid Singh, it is built in the famous jodhpur yellow sand stone thus, The museum displays antique clocks, crockery and hunting trophies belonging maharaja.Jaswant thada  the left of the Mehrangarh Fort complex . It is a 19th-century royal cenotaph built in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur. Near to this are the royal crematorium and three other cenotaphs.
