Founder of Flamingo, Ms. Meeta Shah’s Memorable Trip To South Africa
South Africa has a great space in my memories as I had visited the country and had a great experience. When I had visited South Africa for the first time, the country’s beauty impressed me so much that I believed that it is truly a Rainbow Nation. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from my recent trip to South Africa. The sole reason was that I already loved the country and had covered most of the must visit sites. I thought my first experience was enough to define South Africa. But, on the contrary, this visit turned out to be more memorable than the first one. I felt that South Africa will never cease to surprise me.
We started the trip when we arrived at George, a city located on the Western Cape of the South Africa. We started our journey on the Garden Route towards East London. The ride was just mesmerizing as the roads are excellent and driving on these roads is a serene experience.
The good part is that drive in South Africa is the same side as the Indian roads and our smart driving cards are accepted as valid permit to drive in the Rainbow Nation. The entire ride was just splendid as the scenery was so picturesque. The forests were especially gorgeous.
Food at all the locations was also without a doubt excellent. We were served personally made vegetarian dishes. Through the amazing food, we felt the warmth and love of the people there. It was as if people there served from their hearts to make the customers happy. They made sure that not only the food was tasty, but it was also fresh.
Talking about adventure, we found a lot of activities on the South African route. It is as if you will find some of the other adventurous activity on every nook and corner. It certainly made our trip inspiring.
Here’s a list of the various activities that you can perform in South Africa. Name and do it!
Bungee Jumping, Skydiving, Shark cage, Whale watching, Paragliding, Trekking, Biking and hiking, Kayaking, Canyoning, Zip lining, Game drives, Quad biking, Sand boarding, Surfboarding, Deep sea diving, Rafting and Cycling. All these activities at extremely affordable rates! What more can you expect!?
Accommodations in South Africa are varied to suit every pocket and comfort ranging from hotels of 5 rooms run by estate owners who personally take care of every aspect to branded chain of hotel with 500 rooms.
One can also choose to stay at motel rooms, apartments, farm stays, game reserves stays, beach bungalows, estate owners, and stays within national parks on this route. Everything about South Africa made my trip so memorable that I wouldn’t resist visiting it again.
