Before we dive further, let’s talk timing. The Mekong Delta is a year-round destination, but some seasons are better than others for cruising.
November to April is the dry season. This season is the best time to take a Mekong Delta cruise. However, the ideal time is to take this cruise from November to January. The weather is pleasantly mild during this time, with temperatures not too cold or hot, with minimal rainfall.
May to October is the wet season. It may not be the ideal time for a Mekong Delta Cruise; there is a higher chance of rain. But the positive aspect is you will find fewer tourists and beautiful landscapes featuring lush greenery.
